Early one morning, Gideons from the Lima Central Camp in Peru had gone to distribute Scriptures to personnel at an Air Force base, and a soldier by the name of Charapita G. agreed to lead the group through all the divisions.
While many soldiers and officers responded to the salvation plan when it was explained by the Gideon handing out the Testaments, Charapita paid attention but did not respond. As the Gideons were about to leave the base, Charapita asked, “May I also accept Christ?” One of the Gideons responded, “Yes!” and immediately knelt with Charapita as he became a new brother in Christ. Praise God!
